Each season has its own personality and, with the right tips, any time can be your favorite. <\/p>\n<p>The seasons are the same as in Brazil: summer runs from December to March, and winter from June to September. <strong>The climate is considered one of the best in South America: <\/strong>well-defined seasons, plenty of sunshine, and an average annual temperature of around 18 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s pretty clear why the name &#8220;Buenos Aires&#8221; is so fitting for what you&#8217;ll find there, right? Check out more about the seasons and tips on what to do in each one below. <\/p>\n<h2>Everything you need to know about the seasons in Buenos Aires.<\/h2>\n<h3><strong>Summer<\/strong> <strong>\u2014<\/strong> <strong>December 21 to March 20<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Buenos Aires summers are just as hot as Brazilians. Maximum temperatures range between 28 and 30 degrees Celsius, and the city&#8217;s characteristic humidity makes the perceived temperature feel even higher. <\/p>\n<p>The mornings are already hot, and the intense heat extends throughout the afternoon. At night, the weather cools down a bit, but not enough to require heavy clothing; at most, a light jacket will do. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What to do in the summer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enjoy the parks and outdoor squares; the Palermo Rose Garden is beautiful at this time of year.<\/li>\n<li>Explore the neighborhoods on foot on cooler mornings, before the peak of the heat.<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy the street markets, which frequently take place on weekends.<\/li>\n<li>Take a boat trip through the Tigre Delta, just 30 km from Buenos Aires. The so-called &#8220;Little Venice&#8221; of Argentina is a great option for cooling off. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What to bring:<\/strong> cool, lightweight clothing, comfortable sneakers, and a light jacket for the evening.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Autumn \u2014 March 21 to June 20<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>For many, autumn is the most pleasant season to visit Buenos Aires. At the beginning of the season, the days still retain that pleasant summer warmth, and the nights are cool. A perfect combination!  <\/p>\n<p>As time goes by, the days get shorter and the temperatures gradually drop. The high is around 23 degrees and the low around 13. On some days, the temperature drop happens abruptly, so it&#8217;s worth being prepared.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>What to do in the fall:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Take the famous Che Tour through the historic neighborhoods of Retiro and Recoleta. The mild climate is perfect for 6 km walks <\/li>\n<li>Visit the Recoleta Cemetery, the Monumental Tower, and Alvear Avenue without suffering from the heat<\/li>\n<li>Explore the city&#8217;s museums with more peace of mind (and shorter lines!)<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy the colorful foliage along the tree-lined avenues. Mornings can be quite chilly, and nights are bone-chillingly cold. The average temperature is around 10 degrees Celsius, but it can drop close to zero.  <\/p>\n<p>A fun fact: Buenos Aires has only recorded snowfall twice in its history, in 1918 and 2007, so don&#8217;t count on white flakes, but the cool weather guarantees a very special atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>During the day, the temperature gradually rises, and by the afternoon it&#8217;s even possible to unbutton your coat. Compared to the rest of Argentina, winter in Buenos Aires is quite mild. <\/p>\n<p><strong>What to do in winter:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Step onto the scene in the world of tango. The city awakens: the parks are in bloom, the gardens take on vibrant colors, and the locals flock to the squares to enjoy the gradually returning warmth. The weather is super pleasant, with lows of 14 degrees and highs of 22.  <\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s also the season with the most outdoor events: festivals, marathons, and cultural activities multiply throughout the city.
